WOW, where has the year went?? It has totally flown by for Second Story this year. We are closing for the holidays on December 11th and will re-open on January 5th. We hope that all of you have a blessed and safe holiday season this year.
Little miss Kinley Grace is such a sweetie! She was a very happy and cooperative baby to photograph. Mom and Dad did pretty well too

Yes, I am posting here once again. Due to several requests for the blog to come alive I will be posting here regularly now. There will be new updates, sneek peeks, limited edition information as well as tips and ideas for your own photos at home.
Now for some big news. Some of you might have seen in the paper that I am the new owner of Second Story Studio out of Ellinwood. Well yes, I am but to clear up confusion, Second Story has MOVED to the studio here in Larned. There is no longer a Second Story at Ellinwood. I have bought most everythign that they had to offer and combined it with my own things here for an enormous amount of options for your portraits. I know a lot of you seniors are wondering about the old truck that was a favorite, and yes we have that still 
It is in a very cool spot and there will be sneek peeks of it here soon. We also have a waterfall too!!
Seniors, there are still a few spots open for July but they are filling fast so you need to be calling and booking if you want a July or August spot! You can either call the Second Story number or call me at 620-264-0061. I look forward to hearing from you soon and can’t wait to show you what all we are offering for the 2010 seniors this year. It is gonna be fun!!!!!
What can I say other than we had a BLAST during her sessions. She is sassy and upbeat and just overall fun. Her style and fashion was fun and refreshing to work with!
Poor Maggie was not happy about having pictures taken. She didn’t want to leave Mommy’s side to get them taken. We did get some cute one though
These boys bring a smile to my face. They were so much fun and Gavin had some great poses for him and dad. That little guy cracked me up the entire time they were in the studio. I found out that he loves dots candy, so if you want him to do something just offer him some dots…. LOL!
Brown seems to be the in color this year and I am loving it! These turned out so rich and elegant looking. I hope everyone likes them as much as I do! Thank you for coming in
I love the colors that this family picked out. It was really fun and I love how the pictures turned out. The kids were easy to work with too which is always a nice thing.
These two boys LOVE each other. They didn’t fight at all. It was really a lot of fun watching Andrew copy his big brother Austin. I am not sure I have ever laughed so much during a session. Of course, we can’t forget, the famous firetruck! When we got it out the boys really lit up. We had a lot of fire fighting fun for sure!
What a gorgeous evening we picked to do these photos on. It was not too hot but not too cool either and the sunlight was just perfect. The kids had fun playing in the leaves. We got lots of smiles and had a wonderful time.
